That was what a neighbor of Cehegín had to ask himself last Tuesday, who while taking a morning walk found, lying on the floor, two new 500 euro bills.
Far from taking possession of this precious treasure, this honest neighbor, worried more if possible by the discomfort that such loss would have generated in the rightful owner, immediately went to work to get to him, and he decided to deliver it to his daughter, to give him transfer to the Local Police of Cehegín.
There had not been half an hour of such finding, when the local agents, once they verified the authenticity of the paper money, were calling all the banking entities of the locality, in order to find out if any client, that morning, had withdrawn tickets of the aforementioned amount.
The resolution of this case occurred the next day, when the fortunate and careless owner of that small fortune, advised by his financial institution, rushed to the premises of the Local Police to recover their money.
After answering the battery of questions that were submitted by the agents and there is no doubt that he was the rightful owner of that small fortune, he was given the THOUSAND EUROS found by that honest neighbor, who at no time of this History wanted his identity to be revealed.
By the way, at the time of collecting the money, the clueless neighbor forgot his ID in police facilities, urging him from this means to go to collect your document and not forget anything else on the road.
