The Department of Works and Services, directed by Ismael Abellán, is carrying out, as of Monday, the replacement of the scuppers of the road through Murcia for new ones.
This work, as has been explained, is "in order to eliminate the annoying noise caused by the scuppers located in this environment because, due to the weight of the traffic they support, they have suffered important deformations".
Therefore, the transversal scuppers existing in this road will be replaced by longitudinal ones on both sides of the same, which will have the same capacity to evacuate rainwater but, due to their new location, will not suffer the weight of the traffic and therefore will not deform and cause noise.
The work will be carried out by the company ceheginera Aquamur SL and has a total cost of 13,658.48 euros.
Due to these works, which will last approximately one week, the traffic will be cut on this road at the height of the Alpargatero, so that the light traffic going to Caravaca de la Cruz, will be diverted by the Avda de la Libertad;
the heavy will be diverted towards the Plaza de Toros Avda.
