The Governing Council has authorized the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of the Presidency and Development and the City Council of Cehegín for the construction of the intersection of the RM-714 road with the Cañada García road, in the hamlet of Canara, and the processing of the corresponding file of compulsory expropriation.
Under the agreement, the City Council of Cehegín assumes the cost of the expropriation of land required for the completion of the work (16,000 euros), which will be managed by the Directorate General of Roads, while the Ministry of Presidency and Development will take charge of the execution of the new intersection, for which there is an initial budget of about 900,000 euros.
The purpose of the work is to replace the access from the RM-714 road to the Cañada García road, currently cut due to the dangerous left turns at that point, and to provide the new intersection with the precise safety conditions.
