â— The training considers incomprehensible that the regional government has let half a year pass to implement an amendment that would suppose an impulse to the sector of the flower cut and in general to the economy of the municipality
â— "Once again they try to fix an inexplicable sloppiness at the last minute, they remain anchored in the syndrome of the bad student", says the orange spokesman, Miguel Sánchez
Citizens today criticized the "inexplicable delay" in the approval by the regional government of the convention of expropriation of land for the construction of the Canara variant, in Cehegín.
The regional spokesman, Miguel Sanchez, recalled that "the approval of the land expropriation agreement by the Governing Council does not automatically mean the tender for the project for the unfolding of the Canara highway, contemplated in the budgets of this year thanks to an amendment of Citizens.
The regional government again sells one thing when it approves another. "
In his opinion, the regional government "returns today to sell smoke and try to fix in two months his laziness in this case.
They speak of a work of 900,000 euros when the reality is that the only thing they do today is to approve that the City Council of Cehegín reactivates the agreement for the expropriation of the land;
and the only real game that is today in the budgets are 250,000 euros put by Citizens to end a situation that has been stagnant for a decade.
The sector of cut flowers should continue to wait for a solution that we put into hard cash through an amendment to budgets, and that the regional government has again become smoke and promises.
Miguel Sanchez has justified his critical position on the fact that "the expropriation agreement was approved in May, half a year ago, by the Cehegín City Council, which will assume the payment of the expropriations as advance.
The agreement that they now approve to sell to public opinion has been sleeping the dream of the just half year in the drawers of the regional government.
And now, like the bad students, they go back to dusting it and trying to sell it as a remarkable achievement, when it's clearly insufficiently low. "
Sánchez stressed that Ciudadanos already included this work in the amendments to the 2016 budgets.
"These six months of paralysis, caused by the judicial concerns of the PP and its internal situation, will cause a real delay in the work.
It is practically impossible that it be tendered before the end of the year, and it will become another promise to be fulfilled next year, coinciding precisely with a pre-electoral campaign scenario, "assured the orange spokesman.
The amendment approved in this year's Budget Law would mean the reopening and significant improvement of an access to RM714, the Calasparra highway, through the Cañada García road.
According to Sánchez, "this is an access that has been closed for ten years because of insecurity, and that has forced the cut flower sector to use the road that passes through the middle of the hamlet, making the logistics significantly more expensive by not being able to use trucks. of large tonnage "
Currently, the cut flower sector is one of the engines, but the main one, of the municipality, and a large part of its production is concentrated in Canara, Campillo and La Pilá, which would benefit from the arrangement and reopening of the RM714 link.
"The sector has been claiming this action for ten years to improve its competitiveness and be able to undertake investments that would bring more employment and wealth for Cehegín, so we do not understand that the PP continues to accumulate delays and obstructing an investment that is clearly beneficial". Sanchez affirmed.
