The Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Antonia Fernández, has presented what will be the activities, which will be carried out in the coming months, for people with disabilities.
These are part of the Adaptacio municipal program, which will be carried out by the Adinor Association.
In this presentation was also present one of the people responsible for this group, Sofía Clemente.
The program consists of different activities divided into two blocks: holiday schools and weekend activities.
Among them are the visits to different places of our region like Lorca and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Hope and the participation of the users in the Carnival, Christmas or Route of the Tapa of the locality.
There is also a traditional dinner called Hola Verano. "With regard to holiday schools, this service is planned for Christmas, Easter and Summer.
It has also been recalled that in order to be a beneficiary of this program, in all or some of the activities offered annually, people must have some kind of disability.
The activities are of a general nature, free of charge for the user, except for some kind of contribution they can make to enrich the activity itself and always inform the user beforehand.
In order to be a beneficiary of the Adaptaocio program, the user must fill in a data collection document that will open the process of assigning this user to the program.
The Councilor for Social Services and Equality, Antonia Fernández, has encouraged families to join this program which is "one step further in integrating disabled people into society in general who, through these activities, normalize their situation and enjoy something that others can have on a daily basis. "
