The Local Police of Cehegín counts from today with two new cars patrol Dacia Duster Laureate 4x4 of 110 CV diesel, five doors.
BBVA Autorenting has been acquired through renting system, which in addition to the vehicle includes its maintenance.
With these new acquisitions the fleet of cars increases to six plus two bikes.
The delivery of the cars, which have all the specific equipment for a police vehicle, was held this morning at a public event in the Plaza del Alpargatero.
The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, the Councilors of Public Safety and Hiring, Joaquín López and Ismael Abellán, as well as the Chief of the Local Police, Manuel Fernández, were present at the meeting.
The authorities have indicated the importance of being able to equip the Local Police with new means to provide the service that is required at the present time.
In addition, they have explained that "the commitment of the Government Team will continue with the main objective of covering the needs detected in all municipal services."
Finally, they have commented that it is fundamental, for a good service and to meet the needs that society demands from us "to equip the police with greater means in order to facilitate the development of their daily work throughout the term of our town" .
