A new measure has seen the light today to relaunch the business sector in Cehegín and facilitate the implementation of different companies in the Industrial Area "Water Salada".
It has been published in the BORM, and it is a modification to the regulatory bases of municipal aid for social promotion, through the creation of enterprises and promotion of municipal employment, which the current Government Team launched in November 2015.
This is that, before, the aid was 20% of the purchase value of the soil up to a maximum of eligible land of 2000 square meters, and now this maximum is extended to 2500 square meters in cases where Work to be implemented after the commissioning of the activity are greater than 15, thus encouraging the start-up of business activities involving a greater number of employees.
Councilor for Industry and Economic Promotion, Francisco Chico, said that "this modification of the aid, together with those already established, place the purchase price of industrial land as the most competitive in the Region."
"Today, he explained that, for the purchase of 2500 m2, an entrepreneur would pay € 75,000 (€ 30 eur / m2)." With this modification in the aid, the entrepreneur could obtain a substantial subsidy of € 15,000. This aid would have to add the aid in amount equivalent to the amount that the employer must pay to the City in terms of fees and taxes to start up the activity during the first three years in general and the first year for the vehicle tax Of mechanical traction, aid that can reach up to 15% of the purchase value, which would mean that the plot could eventually cost about 48,750 euros. Price of industrial land could go from cost 30 eur / m2, which in itself is a very attractive price, to cost 19.5 eur / m2 unparalleled price in the Region of Murcia, "concluded the Councilman.
In addition to these new measures, there are also those that already exist for the rental of municipal industrial buildings, which provide aid equivalent to 50% of the rental price during the first year.
Finally, Francisco Chico commented that "from the City Council we will continue working to implement the necessary mechanisms for the creation and promotion of business and industrial in our municipality, with the ultimate aim of being able to alleviate the drama that supposes so many people to be unemployed ".
