The City Council of Cehegín, through the Department of Local Development, directed by Francisco Chico, has reported that five unemployed in the town will be part of the new Local Public Employment Program 2017 that will allow them to have a job for six months.
This will be called "Actions for the improvement, conservation and maintenance of Municipal Heritage" and, as explained by Francisco Chico, will serve to perform different actions in the Plaza de Abastos and thus adapt the facilities to the Association of Commerce and Hospitality Municipality, which has its headquarters there.
On the other hand, it will also serve for the future project of the implantation in Cehegín of the Regional School of Hospitality and Tourism, one the initiatives that the Ceheginero Government Team wants to undertake in this place of the Square of Abastos and that, according to the Edil " "Could be an incentive to improve different economic aspects of our city, and that would serve as a union between training, improvement of our hospitality and tourism."
It would be, as mentioned, the hiring of 5 workers (2 officers and 3 masons), of which the SEF will make a pre-selection.
For its part, the City Council will make the final selection according to the procedure of the bases being developed.
In total will be an economic contribution of 81,376.92 euros;
Of which the City of Cehegín will receive a grant of 43,280.64 euros and, in turn, the consistory will contribute the amount of 38,096.28 euros
This Local Public Employment Plan is co-financed by the ESF through the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020.
The councilman, finally, commented that "from Cehegín city council will continue to work to continue soliciting these local public employment programs, which will allow employment of more unemployed people in the locality who provide necessary public services for the benefit of all citizens And citizens of the locality and contributes to the training and jobs of the unemployed.
