The Councilor for Employment and Economic Promotion of Cehegín City Council, Francisco Chico, as well as the Edil de Obras y Servicios, Ismael Abellán, have presented to the media a new Joint Program of Employment and Training to be held by the town hall thanks to A grant requested from the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia.
It is entitled "Conservation and improvement of gardens and municipal green areas", and it will benefit from 15 young people under 30 years of Cehegín, for 9 months.
From these mentioned months, the first three correspond with theoretical classes scholarships and in the remaining six months will alternate the theoretical part with practices, receiving during this period a salary.
In this way, the beneficiaries will be able to obtain the Certificate of Professionalism called "Ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden center", a certificate with a duration of 330 hours and where students will learn to perform auxiliary operations for production and maintenance Of plants in nurseries and garden centers, as well as for the installation and maintenance of gardens, parks and green areas.
The program has a total cost of 123,410.73 euros and is subsidized by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia and co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Program for Youth Employment by 91.89%.
The Edil de Obras y Servicios, Ismael Abellán, explained that "this program will complement the gardening work carried out in the City Hall, in the different and nourished green areas in the municipality, as well as acting in others of possible New creation as it is the land of more than 8000 m2 that there is near the street Poniente, as well as in the action that is foreseen in the Plan of Works and Services 2017 of the realization of a new park in the District of San Antonio ".
On the other hand, the Councilor for Employment, Francisco Chico, has stated that "diversification of training in new sectors is a priority of the government team."
