The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has opened an investigation to clarify the alleged assault with a man's white weapon to his partner in Canara-Cehegín, which has resulted in the arrest of the individual as alleged perpetrator of homicide in degree Attempt.
The victim has had to be taken care of by medical personnel due to the injuries suffered.
The events took place around 14 hours today in the vicinity of a public establishment in the hamlet of Canara, when a man has struck his partner with a knife, which he has dealt several stab wounds, resulting in a wounded gravity.
The victim, after being assisted in situ by a mobile medical unit, has been transferred to a hospital to continue receiving medical care due to the severity of the injuries suffered.
The Civil Guard has been alerted by the Emergency Service 1-1-2 of the aggression and has transferred several patrols of citizen security.
At the scene of the incident were members of the Cehegín Local Police who had the alleged perpetrator arrested, who has been arrested as alleged perpetrator of homicide.
The detainee, a Bulgarian national, 35 years old and resident in Cehegín, together with the white weapon seized and the investigations ordered, will soon be placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia), acting as a guard.
