Today, a business meeting has been held between the City of Cehegín and the Federation of Metalworkers of Murcia (FREMM) at the headquarters of the Center for Economic Promotion of Cehegín.
By means of the same, this organization has informed the businessmen and has given them keys of help to get the most out of the services that the Federaciónpresta, as well as the collaboration that, from an agreement that will subscribe the two institutions, will have these starting from now
The meeting was opened by the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, who was accompanied by Local Development Councilor Francisco Chicojunto with FREM President Juan Antonio Muñoz Fernández.
The Mayor of Cehegín thanked the FREMM for the realization of these business meetings in the municipality and has positively valued the collaboration agreement that will be signed shortly to boost the competitiveness of SMEs and self-employed, together with employment, in the metal sector in Cehegín.
It also seeks to streamline the administrative procedures of opening of businesses, cooperate in the fight against the submerged economy and promote the access of unemployed to specialized training in the metal.
In the course of the day it has been recalled that in the municipality of Cehegín there are 1000 companies distributed in 1,200 establishments of all business sectors.
The industrial sector is dominated by the food industry, both fruit and canned (19 companies), the marble industry (25 companies) and the metalworking industry (22 companies), which employ more than 400 people.
The Automotive Sector also has a leading role with 42 sales and repair companies, as well as auxiliary activities related to metal construction, about 50.
