The Department of Local Development and Employment, led by Francisco Chico, has organized the Level 2 "Bar and cafeteria services" course, preferably for the unemployed and for which the registration deadline is already open.
The Councilor for Local Development explained that "Cehegín City Council intends to boost the hotel and restaurant sector as key sectors for the local economy and where the presence of qualified professionals is essential for a few years. As well as our initiative to promote a School of Hospitality in our municipality, are essential to look for new employment niches that can make the unemployed of our municipality find work "
The purpose of this program, by which you obtain the Certificate of Professionalism, is to train to work as a waiter, manager of bar-cafeteria or head of bar.
It also includes non-work professional practices.
The course will be subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), with funds from the Autonomous Community and co-financed by the European Social Fund.
The venue for the course will be the Center for Economic Promotion of Cehegín, Nursery of Companies "The Coso" and the "School of Wine", and will have 640 hours.

The program will consist of the following parts:
- Develop food and beverage service processes in bar and table.
- Advise on drinks other than wines, prepare and present them.
- Serve wines and provide basic information about them.
- Prepare and expose simple elaborations typical of the bar cafeteria.
- Manage the bar-cafeteria.
- Acting under safety, hygiene and environmental protection standards in hospitality.
- Communicate in English.
With an independent user level, in the restoration services.
