The Community, through the Institute of Development, delivered the 'Entrepreneur of the Month' awards yesterday to the most outstanding business ideas and initiatives of the first quarter of 2017. One of them was Cehegín company La Ceheginera, Company of homemade elaboration of jams of varied flavors.
The award ceremony, which was hosted by its Manager, Juan Antonio Espín, was attended by the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora and the Local Development Councilor, Francisco Chico.
We remember, as we have mentioned, that this company is dedicated to the artisan manufacture of this product.
The project, as explained, stands out especially for its star product, lemon jam, which differs from those already on the market for maintaining the natural taste of lemon.
Currently, the company manufactures more than ten types of different jams, including fig, olive oil or red wine, all of them handcrafted and natural.
