With the opening words of the Councilor for Culture, Maravillas Fernández, yesterday began a series of cultural events that commemorate the Fortieth Anniversary of the creation of the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín.
After the mayor's prologue, this cycle began with the conference "From the Iberian world to the Romanization", given by María José Sánchez Fernández who was, until her retirement, Director of the Museum of the Sea and Fishing of Santa Pola (Alicante ).
The audience was able to enjoy this great specialist, of a long professional career, who exemplified through images his historical explanation.
Finally, we remember that on Tuesday, May 2, this Archaeological Museum will host an event in which the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora and the Rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, will sign the agreement and will have its inauguration The Permanent Headquarters of the University of Murcia in Cehegín.
In the course of the same, he will give an inaugural Lesson José Miguel Noguera Celdrán, Professor and co-director of the Archaeological Park of Molinete in Cartagena and there will be a concert by the pianist Arturo Abellán Sánchez.
