This next Sunday, April 30, starting at 9:00 am, as informed by the Councilor for Tourism of the City of Cehegín, Ana Maria Molina, returns to the Plaza del Castillo of the town a new edition of the Handicraft Market 'The Mesoncic'.
This time will remember the products and craft trades of yesteryear.
There will be demonstrations of ceramics, esparto and leather.
In addition, you can see how the bolilleras worked and contemplate an exhibition of their work.
On the other hand, it will also be counted in this market with a tourist information point.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, Plaza del Castillo, at the top of Cehegín's Old Quarter, houses the Mesoncico handicraft market, where more than fifty artisans from the area come together to offer their products, sausages, ceramics , Sweets, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc., and where every month you can know different traditions of the region.
The traditional cuisine of the area and the richness of the local gastronomy have a starring role in each of the markets.
