The "Basic Operations of Restaurant and Bar" course, organized by the Department of Local Development and Employment, led by Francisco Chico, started at the Economic Promotion Center, which was aimed at young minors Of 30 years registered in the National System of Juvenile Guarantee.
The purpose of this program, as explained, is to train in the hospitality sector to assist in the service and prepare and present simple drinks and fast foods, executing and applying basic operations, techniques and standards of food handling, preparation and preservation and drinks.
With the course, the young beneficiaries will be able to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism.
The course is subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), with funds from the Autonomous Community and co-financed by the European Social Fund and will have a duration of 290 hours.
