The school "Ciudad de Begastri" won this morning the contest 'Medioambientados' which culminated the initiative of the same name, promoted by the Department of Environment with the aim of instilling a series of habits and behaviors respectful and give Know the natural environment.
This has been subsidized by the company Ecoembes and has also had Hidrogea as sponsor of the final prizes.
The meeting was attended by the Councilor for the Environment, María José Martínez, the area responsible for Hidrogea, Inmaculada Serrano and José Manuel Campos, head of exploitation in Cehegín.
In the last months, all 6th elementary school students from the locality have participated in this socio-educational program that has had three phases until arriving at the test today, held in the House of Culture of Cehegín.
The five participating teams, corresponding to the schools Conde de Campillos, Pérez Villanueva, Ciudad de Begastri, Virgen de las Maravillas and Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas de San Vicente de Paul, have been integrated by five students, differentiated by different shirts colors.
The Adinor Association has been in charge of running the contest, which has had different tests and questions related to the Environment.
The prize for the winners will be a trip to Terra Natura but, all the participants, will also be able to enjoy a Day of Coexistence in the Active Tourism Park "Coto de las Maravillas".
