Today, citizens have been presented with the new ambulance that the City of Cehegín has acquired to serve the locality through the Civil Protection Group, which has basic life support for emergencies.
The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, Councilor for Public Safety, Joaquín López and the Coordinator of Civil Protection in the municipality, José de Moya, have shown the characteristics of this new medicalized vehicle, Mercedes Sprinter brand.
All have expressed their satisfaction at the acquisition of this ambulance, since a vehicle of these characteristics costs in the market around 90,000 euros, and the City Council has purchased for about 20,000 euros, financed by the City and the Emergency Department.
The new ambulance will do a very important job in the municipality, since it will serve for emergency cases and to take it to the sporting activities, taurine, parties, pedanias, markets, etcetera.
In this way, Civil Protection expands its fleet of vehicles, now comprising four SUVs, three vans, a watercraft, a quad (ATV) and an ambulance.
