The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, together with the Director General of Rural and Forestry Development of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Federico García Izquierdo, have held a meeting in Canaraflor with farmers affected by the temporary snow, Which caused serious damage to the infrastructure of its greenhouses.
This meeting served to explain, from both administrations, the aid lines that have been enabled for the reconstruction of these greenhouses, so necessary for the economy of the cehegineras districts and the whole of the municipality and that will be published officially in brief dates.
The Mayor of Cehegín, explained, as it was made public a few days ago, that the aid of the City Council, with Municipal Budget, to which the consistory has allocated the amount of 10,000 euros, will be able to accommodate all natural and legal persons who Are owners of greenhouses destined to business activity and have been totally or partially overthrown by the snow storm last January 2017.
In turn, the Director General also developed the line of aid that will be launched from the Community and which plans to act on more than 300 hectares of the affected municipalities .. Each aid can reach 40 percent of the cost of investment To be made, up to a maximum of 80,000 euros
