According to the Councilor for Sports of Cehegín City Council, Joaquín López, the MTB Club "Los Simao" of Cehegín received, this past Saturday, the award for social collaboration of D'genes, granted in the Charity Gala that this Association of Rare Diseases celebrates every year on the occasion of the commemoration of its World Day, where institutions, companies, researchers, medical professionals, politicians, volunteers, or people who in one way or another are involved with rare diseases are rewarded.
The MTB Club Los Simao has been distinguished with this award for the organization of the March for Rare Diseases Cehegín, which has already organized several consecutive years and for their solidarity with these pathologies and their involvement with the Association of Genes.
More than four hundred people participated and dressed the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes at the gala dinner of their annual awards, awards that recognize the trajectory and work of people and institutions that for their work, involvement, interest , Fight and initiative, collaborate and make visible the reality of diseases of low prevalence and that support and give strength to those affected to continue day by day.
