The Councilor for Social Services, Antonia Fernández, has announced that the D'genes Association, through its regional delegation in the Northwest, led by Pascual Donate, will perform a first day called "Living with a rare disease" in commemoration Of the World Day of Rare Diseases.
It will be next Friday, February 24, at 7:00 pm in the House of Culture of Cehegín.
During the day there will be several presentations by professionals who participate with D'genes in the region, in the field of speech therapy, physiotherapy or occupational therapy;
As well as several testimonies of people affected by rare diseases.
The event will be attended by politicians, businessmen, associations, schools and AMPAS from five villages in the Northwest.
The main purpose is to raise awareness, both socially and in the workplace, and take advantage to publicize this association, its projects and its services provided to improve the quality of life of people affected by rare diseases.

20.45: Testimony: "Living with Muscular Dystrophy of Waist" Antonio Marín Sandoval (Affected, and President of the Association Conquering Steps).
21.15: Testimony: "Living with Fragile X" Fabián López Aguiar (Coordinator of D'Genes X Fragile).
