The Councilor for Tourism, Ana Maria Molina, recalled the importance for tourism in our region of the Northwest, and in particular Cehegín, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year of Caravaca de la Cruz 2017.
The Camino de Levante, which begins in Orihuela, takes the steps of the pilgrim to Caravaca de la Cruz on a route of almost 120 km of spirituality, discovery and legend, as well as culture, heritage, landscape, gastronomy and party.
Cehegín is a mandatory route along this route and, through Murcia Turística, the establishments of the municipalities through which the route passes can be registered in a special register to be able to display on their door an identifying sign and have to meet specific requirements.
This has already been done many establishments cehegineros through the link made available to Murcia Turística
La Edil commented that "it is of the utmost importance that, through our commerce and hospitality, in all its aspects, we are able to take advantage of this Jubilee Year that many and many tourists will bring to our Region." Any initiative that will help many Of them pass through our locality, will be good news for our economy "
