Next Thursday, February 9, will take place a new conference of Cehegín Cultural dedicated to gastronomy.
It will be at the Cehegín House of Culture at 8:00 p.m., and this time it will be the turn of the chef, food and culinary advisor, Raúl García Jiménez.
Raúl García is a great lover of gastronomy since his childhood.
He studied cooking and restoration in one of the best schools of hospitality in Murcia.
Tanned between fires of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants of Spain, Greece, France and Italy.
He is a culinary journalist for numerous national and international cuisine magazines, as well as a regular contributor to the magazzine "History of gastronomy" of the Gastronomic Institute of the Andes (Peru).
Throughout his professional career, he has collaborated in different programs of press, radio and television, making the spectator reach the world of the kitchen in a didactic and simple way.
As was already advanced in the presentation of IX Rutadela Tapay Cehegín Cocktail, this new edition has as a special attraction that, to this, is added the celebration of the Fair Gastronomy, Culture and Tourism;
With music, theater, cinema, workshops, craft markets, trade shows and other activities that will take Cehegín public spaces from January 28 to February 26.
One of the most relevant cultural activities will take place with a special edition of the "Cehegín Cultural" series of conferences, organized by the Cultural Councilor, directed by Maravillas Fernández, and who, this time, will be dedicated to gastronomy.
Throughout three consecutive Thursdays, there will be presentations of diverse subject but centered in the culinary art.
All of them are inserted in the initiative of the council called "Cultural Passport".
