The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, and the Director General for Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing of the Region of Murcia, Nuria Fuentes, met yesterday with the fifty beneficiaries of the call for assistance of the ARRU Plan, Which corresponds to 2016, to inform them of the eligible actions, procedures to follow, deadlines for execution and payment of those already granted.
Also present was the Councilor for Urbanism, Joaquín López and the Councilor for Works and Services, Ismael Abellán.
As explained, there are fifty beneficiaries who have already been told that they will have this help, in addition, there are another seventeen who have been left out of this initiative, but who meet the requirements, so that throughout 2017 Another call will be issued to complete them.
It was explained that 212,000 euros will go to Cehegín and soon that figure will rise.
Also 140,000 euros are going to be spent on making an urbanization project for the municipality.
The aid will cover conservation works (foundation, structure, facilities, roofs, roofs, facades or other common elements), improvement of quality and sustainability, as well as accessibility to buildings, homes and premises.
We recall that in Cehegín the area defined for the intervention included the town center, affecting the old town, the commercial area of ​​the center and the neighborhoods of San Cristóbal, San Antonio, Las Maravillas or the Convent and San Juan or the Bullring.
