The 6th edition of the Paddle and Tennis Tournament "A toy a tournament" by Cehegín, which took place on January 2 and 3, has been celebrated with great success.
During these days a solidary collection of toys was realized for the children with less resources.
There have been, according to the organizers, forty men's paddle players, sixteen women's paddle tennis players, thirty-two tennis players in the doubles tournament, sixteen junior tennis players and twelve tennis players.
A great participation, which has meant a good collection of toys for the most needy families in the locality.
These will be delivered to the Association of Caritas "Virgen de las Maravillas" for further distribution.
We remember that this tournament has been organized by the Tennis Club Cehegín and has been sponsored by the Councils of Sports and Social Services Cehegín City Council, headed by Joaquín López and Antonia Fernández, respectively.
He has also counted on the collaboration of the companies DeportesMatch Murcia, Peluquería Paco García, Fuentes Fisioterapia, Montecarlo Pizzeria-Frankfurt, Viveros la Aparecida, Agencia Asemar Pelayo.
