The House of Culture Cehegín will host on Saturday, December 17, at 20:00 hours, the performance of the play 'Aqui no paga nadie', in charge of the theater workshop of the Association of Women "Horizons" , Of Molina de Segura.
A play by the Italian playwright Darío Fo.
It will also be interpreted in sign language.
The money raised by the sale of tickets, five euros is the price, will be used for research on the disease Neurofibromatosis Type 2. This activity has the collaboration of the Department of Culture, directed by Maravillas Fernández García, and enters the Cultural Passport.
María José Teruel, organizer of this event, a neighbor of Cehegín and affected by this disease, explained that the Chromo Association22 is carrying out different activities to become visible in society and to request more attention, support and more means for the investigation of Biomedical and pharmacological treatments.
Neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) is a genetic disorder that causes a mutation in chromosome 22 that favors the development of benign tumors throughout the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord and neuronal cells in general).
The majority of those affected show the first symptoms during adolescence or around 20 years.
