The House of Culture, crowded with audiences, hosted last Saturday the traditional concert in honor of Santa Cecilia of the Musical Society of Cehegín and its Youth Band.
In the prologue of the event, which was attended by the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, and the mayor of Tourism, Ana María Molina, this group presented an exhibition, located at the entrance of the House of Culture, In which you can see the different awards that this training has achieved in recent years, as well as different panels with images of this group.
The event also served to celebrate the First Prize of the International Contest "Vila de la Senia" (Tarragona), obtained last April, as well as present the CD of the competitions 2013-2016.
This great musical event ended with the intervention of the Mayor of Cehegín who, together with the mayor of Tourism, gave a gift to the Musical Society.
In addition, José Rafael Rocamora, delivered to the president of this training, José Francisco Ruiz, and the Treasurer, Felipe Luis de Paco, a grant of 4,000 euros for the purchase of new instruments.
