At the plenary session held yesterday, all political groups unanimously approved the acceptance of donations to the City Council, once again, Cehegín Official Writer Abraham Ruiz Jiménez.
The donation consists of a series of documents from the last century and 38 volumes of the collection "Library of Regional Studies" and 152 of the "Biblioteca de murciana" pocket, editions of the Royal Academy Alfonso X the Wise, which will become part of The Library of the municipality for the dissemination of culture.
The mayor stressed in his motion that "we will never thank these people, always silent, but great in their intellectual height, their contribution to seek those lost roots, to try to find an identity, always through their writings and actions like this , Which enrich our Historical Heritage ".
