The Councilor for Social Services, Antonia Fernández, has reported that, on the occasion of the X Anniversary of the Virgen de las Maravillas Day Center, this Friday, November 25, at 19:30 hours, the association ANIMAY has programmed a cinema -forum with the film "El olivo".
It is a film about family and social relationships that occur around an older person that can serve us all as a reflection on how we are building our families and society around the elderly.
The film is directed by well-known director Icíar Bollaín who has directed works like "I give you my eyes" and "Also the rain", of great success among the public.
The film-forum will be directed by Juan Carlos García Domene, who is an expert in the use of cinema for sensitizing and educational purposes.
At the entrance of the House of Culture, a photo-call will be made to the families who come to the film session and will be given a photo.
The act, as explained by the organizers, "seeks essentially to serve as an exciting meeting between the different generations that make up our families."
Tickets for viewing the film can be purchased at the Casa de la Cultura and the Virgen de las Maravillas Day Center and will be priced at € 3 donation.
