On Sunday, November 27, the Mercadillo "Mesoncico" edition will be held, organized by the Department of Tourism, directed by Ana María Molina, and which will take on this occasion the title "Taste and smell of autumn".
In turn, this flea market will host what will be the III Meeting of Gangs.
This has been made public by the owner Edil and the secretary of the Animers of Cehegín, Emilio López, organizers of this meeting in which the council mentioned above.
As they have explained the participating gangs will be: Bunch of Souls of the Purísima Concepción de Cañada de la Cruz, Bunch of Souls of the Field of San Juan Sabinar and Calar de la Santa, Air Serrano de Yeste Cuadrilla, Brotherhood of the Blessed Animas of Patiño, the Aguanderos of Barranda, the Animeros of Campillo de los Jiménez, and the organizers themselves, the Animeros of Cehegín.
The program will start at 9:30 am with the reception to the gangs in the Palace of the Tercia.
At 10:00 hours there will be a parade to the Plaza del Castillo.
At 10:30 the teams will be in the aforementioned Plaza where they will perform a (Baile Suelto).
At 12:00 o'clock, and in a small stage, all the participating teams will be going through different themes.
The Councilor for Tourism has highlighted "what it means to claim our most traditional values ​​through folklore and also to do so in an incomparable setting such as our Old Town."
He thanked the group of Animeros of Cehegín that "they are heirs of the music of root and that try that this perviva in the time".
On the other hand, the City Council remembers that the Mercadillo the Mesoncico will take place on the last Sunday of each month and as it has been habitual in the last years, all the markets will be thematic, and will be dedicated to different aspects and traditions of the life of the municipality And in which artisans will show their products, such as sausages, ceramics, sweets, esparto, pickles, oil, bread, cheese or leather goods, will be some of the main themes of these markets.
The stage is, as in previous years, the Plaza del Castillo, in the heart of the Old Town of Cehegín, to create a greater attraction to the event, which involved more than forty positions.
The dates in which the different markets are held are already established:

January 29, 2017: The art of elaborate sausage.
February 26, 2017: With disguise and every mask.
March 26, 2017: Sones of Easter and sugar candies.
April 30, 2017: Artisan products and crafts.
May 28, 2017: The garden of Cehegín.
