The Mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, accompanied by his Councillor for Citizen Security, Joaquín López Carreño, have received today at City Hall to ceheginero José de Moya Moreno, during the recent award that has been granted, ie the Police Merit Cross, awarded by the Ministry of Interior through the Directorate General of the National Police.
They have thus wanted to publicly congratulate him on this award that has been given by his years as a professor in the Division of Training and Development of the National Police.
The mayor stressed that "this recognition, deserved, is the result of years of work, effort, of imparting teaching through an experience of over thirty years in all areas of Civil Protection. We welcome this and it is an honor for us and for all cehegineros the fact that this has occurred. "
José de Moya Moreno, besides this prize now, is credited with, among others, the Sports Merit Medal, the Grand Cross of Human Rights and Police and Military Intervention and the Grand Cross Monarchist of Spain.
Since 8 September 1983 is the Director of Civil Protection Cehegín, which also runs the Underwater Rescue body, under the Emergency Department of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
