The Department of Equality of the City of Cehegín, directed by Antonia Fernández, has launched a survey of citizen participation, including in the development of the II Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between women and men.
This will take place at the municipal City Council website, www.cehegin.es.

This measure is aimed at all citizens have the right to participate in public affairs, establishing appropriate instruments to articulate the process.
The mayor explained that this survey is created with "the aim to promote and facilitate citizen participation in our municipality. We want a brief survey to all interested persons to submit their suggestions and opinions for designing of all / os this II Municipal Plan equal opportunities "
On the other hand, the Town councilor also pointed out "that an equality plan is an instrument of incorporation of equality between women and men in the daily operation and management of our municipality. Through them equality objectives to achieve are fixed, and strategies and practices to be adopted to achieve them. "
