Councilman information and communications technology, Ismael Abellán García, has reported that mobile operators, Telefonica, Vodafone and Orange will begin offering in Cehegín services on the 4G network in the 800MHz band, which will allow cehegineros enjoy high-speed mobile connections on LTE (4G) technology with better coverage inside buildings and wider geographical spread.
To ensure compatibility with the new technology of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), operators have launched Llega800, entity responsible for resolving any involvement in the reception of the television signal.
4G deployment is part of the established in Royal Decree 805/2014, of September 19, dated April 1, 2015 in which we proceeded to the release of the frequencies between 790 and 862 MHz (channels 61 to 69 UHF) which until then were used for the reception of Digital Terrestrial Television, a process also known as Digital Dividend.
Thereafter, these frequencies were assigned to the mobile operators to deliver its mobile services 4G.
With the arrival of the new 4G Cehegín continuing the implementation process being carried out gradually throughout the national territory since last July and culminating in March 2018, scheduled for full deployment of date technology.
With the 4G network has opened the door to innovative services and applications, while providing significant improvements in both the download speed as -photos sending data, music or audiovisual content high definition-or allow to make the most online applications, such as video games.
The new generation of 4G technology also facilitates the introduction of new services in the business area and government, and business mobility applications with high multimedia content or use of the video call, among others.
In addition, most coverage reaching 4G in the 800MHz band will improve service inside buildings and will be the band that allows geographically extend the service efficiently.
Llega800 is the managing body responsible for providing services that ensure compatibility between the implementation of the issuance of 4G in the 800 MHz band and the reception of DTT service.
