The City Council deCehegíny the Organization of Business and Professional Women (OMEP) have signed a collaboration agreement that aims to promote joint implementation of measures to encourage the promotion and consolidation of business activity of women in the municipality.

For the signing of the agreement have gathered Manuela Marín, representing OMEP, and Francisco Chico and Antonia Fernandez, Councillors of Economic Promotion and Women respectively, representing the City of Cehegín.

With this agreement the creation of companies led by women at the municipal level is intended, and the development of training activities aimed at positioning of women decreasing the gender gap in the business and professional world.

Under this agreement, the OMEP undertakes to provide dependent material, technical and human resources of your organization, and workshops of various forms and themes;

including corporate motivation to inform and advise those women entrepreneurs who choose self-employment as a way of entering the labor market;

Business basic training for starting up a business, as well as training in new technologies, especially social networking to enhance the promotion and commercial area of ​​the company.

Also organize round participation and other activities for the development of female entrepreneurs that contribute to enhancing the self-employment of women in this municipality tables.

It will also boost performances Cehegín favoring the incorporation of women into the business and professional world.

For its part, the Consistory cooperate in the design and development of specific campaigns to promote female entrepreneurship enCehegín;

provide, as far as possible local development activities carried out and work with the OMEP in promoting business networking among women entrepreneurs in the municipality.

OMEP is a business organization that has been working at the regional level for over 20 years, which associates women entrepreneurs, professionals, directors and entrepreneurs of all economic and social areas of the Region of Murcia.

Among its aims include the promotion of entrepreneurial activity of women, training, access to new information and communications technology, and promoting employment, contributing to equality between women and men in business areas and organizational .
