The departments of Health and Environment of the City of Cehegín, directed by Antonia Fernández Nieto and Maria Jose Martinez Verdugo, respectively, have reported care obligations and pet owners with them and deter them from their abandonment during the summer.
The aldermen, thus recalled the campaign a few days ago launched the Ministry of Health, through the Directorate General of Public Health and Addictions, and the College of Veterinarians of the Region, called "This summer, all protected ", the aim of this initiative, among other things, protect pets, so that the health of companion animals is guaranteed, hence the need to keep appointments with the veterinarian to make corresponding revisions and proceed to vaccination.
This campaign, reminded the Councillors, tells us that the vaccine is mandatory for dogs and cats against rabies, vaccination period is open until 31 August;
Also, on the other hand, it is important to diagnose diseases and meet other pets that are susceptible to be transmitted to man.
