The Local Coordination Committee against Gender Violence has held one of its regular meetings to analyze and prevent gender violence, through coordination between different agencies, as explained by the Councillor for Social Services, Women, Gender and Health City of Cehegín, Antonia Fernández Nieto.
The main conclusion, the mayor explained that detected four new cases of gender violence in our municipality, which represents a considerable increase.
In addition, according to the CAVI, Cehegín six women are being addressed by this issue.
The table is made up of the Councillor said, the City Council Public Safety, Joaquín López Carreño, Councillor of Education, Maravillas Fernández, representatives of Social Services, CAVI, Health Center Cehegín, Guardia Civil, Local Police and Technique Department of Women.
We recall that the table aims to improve early detection of cases, promote coordination of agents, actions and resources;
provide care and agile response to victims, better protect high risk victims, and inform and sensitize professionals and citizens.
