On this day, the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora Gabarrón, officially signed the contract for the exploitation of the Plaza de Toros de Cehegín.
The company has been awarded Tauroemoción and in that firm, has been its representative, Alberto García Buj.
The contract period is two years and may be granted an extension of one year.
We recall that the City of Cehegín promoted this contract, for more advantageous negotiated procedure without advertising, financial offer, with several award criteria and aspects of negotiation for the exploitation of the "Plaza de Toros de Cehegín" inviting eight companies.
As specified in the contract, among other things, the company is required to hold a celebration during the festivity on September 10, with cattle belonging to herds included in the Union of Breeders of Fighting Bulls, or other previous association municipal authorization, as well as at least two bullfighters framed within the first fifteen positions of bullfighting roster last year, or a bullfighter July 31 a day take at least 20 toreando in the season.
Also set up special ticket prices to shows to be held during the Festivities for the members of the barracks, associations, bullfighting clubs, duly agreed with the Department of Celebration, all to encourage the attendance of the public, especially youth, to bullfights.
The company official said that next week, are planned submission of the next bullfights.
