The Mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, recalled through a Bando that "due to the fire hazard posed by the existence of weeds in urban and solar lands of the Municipality and also taking into account the damage to health this situation entails, owners are reminded of their obligation to keep them in proper conditions of cleanliness ".

Also, in the same "owners are warned that not to carry out these cleaning tasks, could incur a punishable offense with 751 € to 1,500 €, according to the Ordinance Cleaning, Collection and Treatment of Urban Waste".
