The Mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, and the Councillor of Culture, Wonders Fernández, delivered last Friday prizes XIII Contest Amateur Theatre 'Cehegín City', in which the Group Atrecho Theatre, won prizes 'Best Performance' for his work, "90 days. the Musical" and the award for 'Best director', which went to Dany Moreno.

The second prize in this mode was for the theater group The Loft, with the play "Friends despite everything."

On the other hand, the award for 'Best Actor' of the event was to Bartolomé Hoyos, the Entreteatro Group, with his work "Exitus";

and "Best Actress" was awarded to Rosa Gea Gea, the theater group Matícate with the performance of the play "Cómicas troubled".

We recall that this year was held the XIII edition of the contest Amateur Theatre City Cehegín, a cycle that has established itself as a strong cultural commitment, which began as Local Week but, years later, extended to the Region Murcia.

More than 20 amateur groups who each year participate in this contest, which, after an evaluation of the jury, only some of them premiered his work in the Head Theatre Week, opting for the awards of the Bases.

But from throughout the region they are sent the works to be valued, so the contest is a premier bet by culture and performing arts.
