The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed the operation 'PADDED' research aimed at preventing and prosecuting drug trafficking, which has resulted in the dismantling of a criminal organization, international, cultivation and manipulation sativa cannabis and hashish after remitted by mailpieces to recipients in the UK.
The operation culminated with the arrest of two people and a third investigation as alleged perpetrators of crimes against public health, for cultivation and drug trafficking, and belonging to a criminal organization.

The investigation began when the Civil Guard was on the trail of the shipment from the post office technical Caravaca de la Cruz, postal parcels destined for UK who raised suspicions because of its strong smell of marijuana.

After obtaining the necessary evidence, the Civil Guard has identified a neighbor of Cehegín, a British national, and has located his home, a house rented country where the crop was suspected in clandestine greenhouses of narcotics.

In the house they were found nine greenhouses including three outdoor and six indoor enabled the cultivation of plants and a laboratory for the preparation of derivatives, such as oil and hashish pollen substances.

Operation 'PADDED' has culminated in the arrest of two men, aged 44 and 46 years of British nationality and the investigation of a third man, Spanish and 23, members of a criminal organization dedicated to the cultivation and international shipping of drugs, which are credited with the alleged perpetrators of the crimes against public health, for cultivation and drug trafficking, and belonging to a criminal organization.
The detainees, seized drugs and effects and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia).
