The XIII Amateur Theatre Competition 'Ciudad de Cehegín' begins Monday with the work despite todo' `Friends (19/02/2016)

Councillor for Culture, Maravillas Fernández García, presented at a press conference the XIII Contest Amateur Theatre 'Cehegín City', to be held from 23 to 27 February at the House of Culture Cehegín.

Tickets will have a price of two euros and can buy a ticket to witness all works price of 5 euros.

Also, those who possess the cultural passport, with four stamps assistance, will have free access.

As explained by the mayor, a total of 13 amateur theater companies in the Region of Murcia have been submitted to the contest, and has been the jury in charge of evaluating and viewing assemblies which has made the selection of the five participants.

Councillor ended his speech by saying that "this event wants to be a bid to enhance the culture through theater and strengthen the values â€‹â€‹that these works are. They can see from deep thought to satire of reality. The theater is essentially the life and invite the people in general to attend this cultural commitment ".
