Presented by the March School Rare Diseases, to be held on February 28 (19/02/2016)

Councillor for Social Services City of Cehegín, Antonia Fernández Nieto, accompanied by the coordinator at the Northwest Association D'Genes, Pascual Donate, presented the School March for rare diseases, to be held in Cehegín on 28 February, leaving from the Plaza del Alpargatero at 11 am, and will have its completion in the Parque Ginés Ibáńez where reading a manfiesto will take place.

This activity, organized by the Association and the City of Cehegín, serve to mark World Rare Disease Day, which this year is 29 February.

Here are invited to children from schools in the town, nurseries, parents participate, as well as anyone who wants to attend.

Children will be responsible for reading their manifestos for rare diseases.

After reading the manifesto, the group held Adinor recreation and entertainment for all participants games.

Councillor of Social Services has stated that "the city will always be next to this type of educational initiatives and of these groups, which have the aim to help others, in particular to create the necessary space for coexistence between relatives and parents children with rare diseases, and raise awareness of the public health problem posed by these. and this activity is an example of this. I encourage participation in this march he wants, above all, to raise the issue with those who live with these diseases".

Donate Pascual has called to participate and, in turn, explained that "we have sought the cooperation of Schools, Ampas, etc, to develop their banners with messages or anything else that contributes to giving this striking holiday morning, so that we can fulfill the main goal of this march, which is none other than the social awareness to this type of disease and involve the whole society "

He also thanked "the City of Cehegín, its Mayor, and councilors of Sports and Public Safety, Social Services and Education, and those responsible for the AMPAS his involvement with this event and with rare diseases and our association."

We recall that last September, the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, along with the President of Dgenes, Juan Carrion, opened a new office in Cehegín, particularly in the House of Culture, for the whole region, which aims that all those who are affected by a rare or under diagnosis disease and their families can learn about the services and work provided by the association, whose headquarters is located in Totana, which has the Multidisciplinary Centre ' Celia Carrion Perez de Tudela ', attended by users throughout the Region of Murcia.
