The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Jos Ram n D ez de Revenga, and the Mayor of Ceheg n, Alicia del Amor, reported today on the tender for the works, which cover an area of ??2,214 meters.
The deadline for the submission of offers by interested companies begins tomorrow and ends on January 20.
And the execution period of the works will be three months.
D ez de Revenga highlighted the importance of this crossing, which has intense traffic since it runs between the exit of the Northwest Highway and the municipalities of Ceheg and Caravaca de la Cruz (RM-517) .
The work consists of repairing the road surface in two sections, from kilometer point 0.170 to 0.703 and from 0.895 to 2.214, given that the remaining sections are in good condition, and the renovation of the horizontal and vertical signage.
According to the counselor, "we pay a lot of attention and resources to the correct conservation of the routes most frequented by users in order that they are in optimal use" and informed that "thank you To this action, we will solve the wear of the tread layer typical of use, which currently has cracked areas and small braziers, as well as small deformations due to the numerous connections and service crossings existing on the road ".
In addition to repairing braziers, the pavement will be milled and the pavement will be reinforced using a layer of asphalt mix.
Road markings and ordering of horizontal signage at intersections will also be replaced.
