The mayor of Ceheg n, Alicia del Amor, today presented the prizes to the winners of the "Draw your Library" contest, which was called on the occasion of the International Libraries Day that was held October 24.
The Councilor for Culture, Juan Martínez, as well as the Librarian, Sabina Ruiz, was present at the event. The contest consisted of drawing how the children saw, either the public library, or that of their educational centers.
The winners in the different categories have been Priscila L pez Cifuentes from 2nd grade from Colegio P rez Villanueva and Carmen Jensen Mart nez from 6th grade from Colegio P rez Villanueva. The mayor congratulated the winners of these contests and explained, at the end of the event, that “everything that involves carrying out initiatives aimed at the dissemination of reading at an early age.
Making the children have in the Library a place where through books they can become better, can live adventures, recognize characters who live other worlds and other lives, will always be an achievement of the institutions p Public, educational centers and families ”.
