The City Council, through the Department of Works and Services, led by Pedro Lorencio, is undertaking the pruning of the cypress trees on San Telesforo street, next to the old Pérez Villanueva school, which had grown a lot and invaded the sidewalk making it difficult to pass of pedestrians. It is being done for security reasons.
Due to various factors such as age, rottenness, meteorological phenomena and other circumstances that present an obvious risk of falling on public roads, either from the tree itself or from some part of it.This intervention is within the winter pruning campaign of all the trees in the gardens, parks and public spaces of the municipality that this council is carrying out.
