The Cehegín Department of Tourism has created a mobile application to promote home delivery services while the restrictions due to Covid-19 continue.
It is a new measure to support the hospitality sector that, in the case of this town, will not be able to reopen its premises this weekend -30% capacity on the terrace- because the number of infections by Covid-19 exceeds the threshold of 500 affected per 100,000 inhabitants.
Something that the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Moratalla, Blanca, Yecla, Jumilla, Alhama de Murcia, Totana and Fuente Álamo will also suffer. The website is called 'Ceheginselleva' and it can be accessed from the link ceheginselleva.comIn it you can find the offers 'Breakfasts', 'What to eat' and 'Something sweet'.
There are already several registered premises and those interested in participating, without expenses for the premises, only have to contact the Association of Commerce and Hospitality in the morning (telephone 968743490) and the Office of Commerce and Hospitality of the City Council of Cehegín, located at the Tourist Office 968740723550.In addition, a 5 euro gift voucher will be given -for purchases over 20 euros- to be exchanged at local shops. The councilor of the area, Loli Agudo, has encouraged Ceheginers to consume through it and help the hotel industry and has indicated that "this initiative aims to benefit both hoteliers and merchants in this difficult situation that they have had to live.
Our commitment is to continue supporting them until we overcome the health crisis due to Covid-19 ".
