7 Televisión Región de Murcia today held its III Edition of "Diario del Campo" Awards, which recognizes the work of different entities in favor of the regional agri-food sector.
The Víctor Villegas auditorium in Murcia has been the setting in which this event has taken place.The Cehegín cut flower sector, in the Agriculture modality, has received one of the awards for its contribution and important advances that have made it a national and international icon.The event was attended by the mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, who was in charge of collecting this distinction, together with the president of Canaraflor, Juan Maravillas.
The Councilor for Agriculture, Pedro Lorencio, was also present.Alicia del Amor had words of gratitude and explained that "this award now, even more so, has for the cut flower of Cehegín in general, an added value because we all know, in the times we live in, that it has been one of the sectors most affected by this pandemic.
""In this way, he has concluded, this award, this general support that we provide today, should also be a boost for a key sector in our town, the engine of our economy for years and which is a reference for production, not only in our Region.
