The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, has issued a Municipal Band in which she encourages Cehegineros to join in the celebration of the National Holiday, which is celebrated on October 12, “which unites all Spaniards and we also share with our brothers from the American continent ”.In El Bando, the mayor urges to make the National Holiday visible "by decorating the balconies and windows of our homes with the flag of Spain."Del Amor explained that "in these moments in which our country suffers a health crisis, it is advisable to reinforce expressions of confidence in the ability to overcome and drive a country united around its symbols and institutions." In addition, in the aforementioned Bando the mayor has had a recognition and congratulations "for the great work carried out, the State Security Forces and Bodies, Local Police and on this day the Civil Guard, for the celebration of its Patron , and that this year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the traditional acts will not be held ".
