The Councilor for Social Policy, María José de Maya, has reported that the City Council of Cehegín will illuminate the town hall door in turquoise blue on the occasion of the International Day of Dyslexia that is commemorated today Thursday, October 8, with the aim of making visible this learning disorder that affects at least 10 percent of the world's population and approximately four out of every six school failures and dropouts. In this way, the Ceheginera institution joins the #UnidosPorLaDislexia campaign promoted by the Spanish Federation of Dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties (FEDIS), to which the main cities and councils of the country have joined, in addition to the Congress of the Deputies and the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID). The General Assembly of the Federation unanimously chose three years ago, the turquoise blue color as the one that represents the cause of dyslexia since it is a color with mostly positive connotations for people with dyslexia, since it promotes creativity, calm , serenity, tranquility and relaxation.
