In the first place, authorizations are pending for the planned action on the La Canaleja rural road, which is expected to be sent for contracting at the end of the year, with a budget of 250,000 euros, and which connects the urban center of Cehegín with the El Chaparral district.

Along with this, the Governing Council recently approved the tender for the Salmartina roads (822 meters) and Hoya Redonda (776 meters long) for a value between them of 260,000 euros.Some works to which will be added the repair of the Camino de la Hoya de los Hermanos, more than 3,000 meters long, and for an amount of 171,000 euros recently selected in the third call for the repair of rural roads and whose project will be drawn up in the next few months.New storm tankThe Minister Luengo also highlighted the work carried out this year in the municipality, such as the storm tank that has had an investment of just over 375,000 euros for the conditioning of the aerobic sludge digester that ended last May.A work that has made it possible to use the old stabilization tanks as a storm tank and for flow regulation, "taking advantage of existing resources to avoid relief and thus have more water to treat and reuse it," explained Luengo.
